© Sunbeaten Local Area The house is situated 2 minutes walk away from the nearest bar, 5 minutes walk from three bars, a mini-market, Italian restaurant, two Chinese restaurants and a rent a car. In the other direction, there is Las Florida which takes less than 10 minutes to walk, this little area houses a themed pub called the Abbey which has seen a few relatively big bands play and lovely food, a park, a supermarket, a couple of bars and restaurants, taxi stop, bus stop and internet cafes. The house itself is situated in a little area in Costa Blanca called Las Mimosas in the province of Alicante, the nearest city being the very popular Torrevieja. Torrevieja Torrevieja is situated on the coast and was originally a salt- mining and fishing village, as it is perfectly situated between the sea and two large salt lakes, which give Torrevieja and the surrounding areas a very healthy micro-climate. Torrevieja has just undergone a large redevelopment scheme to enhance the local area, all in the traditional style of Torrevieja, maritime inspired mosaic theme. Torrevieja has many sites worth a visit, from the historic buildings, ice cream parlours, religious buildings to the modern shopping malls; Torrevieja is a very diverse place.
